    compat_comments: playable in both opengl and vulkan, gameplay targeting 30 fps; opengl performs well in gameplay at even high internal resolutions, with some more issues with frametimes when loading new areas, changing weapons, or loading new effects to be rendered the first time during a play session, the most significant slowdown by far in opengl is when fullscreen framebuffer effects appear such as on weapon zooms of pistol/sniper rifle/rocket launcher, may occur in other scenes as well, slow down can be significant and much worse slowdown at very high internal render resolutions; vulkan is also playable and generally has very consistent frametimes, frametime spikes are smaller when loading in new areas or effects or enemies or weapons, there is also little to no apparent slowdown when fullscreen framebuffer effects appear such as on weapon zooms and frame times are also better when these effects appear the first time, performance in all situations appears to be best in vulkan at even extremely high internal render res
