The sounds break up when you drop below a certain frame rate.
Performance / Gameplay:

This game frame rate hovers in the mid-40s most of the time. With lots of NPCs it can drop into the low teens.
Graphics:

The game has some texture pop in as well as weird shadows on the foliage. Also, the pause menu has margin artefacts. 

This game performance makes it unplayable.
