    compat_comments: I played through the 1st level 3 times. No assertion errors were encountered during my 3 tests. However, the portion I did play was still not without issues. They are:
    1.) The environments of the tutorial area and the 1st level still become nearly blindingly bright yellow when the camera is moved around in some directions. This also causes the details on chracter and enemy models to become almost too dark to discern when it happens. 
    
    2.) While on 1x scaling the performance can maintain a relatively solid 59-60FPS, even on my lower-end desktop, there are times when the game can dip into the 40s and 30s. This most consistently happened during the 1st stage's boss when there were lots of energy effects going on while they summoned projectiles.
    
    Although the game may be a candidate for being labeled "playable," even if further testing would show the other stages work fine and run at playable speeds, I think the random stark shifts in lighting in the tutorial and 1st stage may be a danger to those with epilepsy.
